About DNA

At DNA, we believe that everyone deserves the right to choose the best support and services for themselves or their loved ones.

A Community Built for You
BY YOU!

Founded in 2024, DNA (Disability Network Alliance) was born from a simple realisation: finding the right support shouldn’t be a full-time job.

We started DNA because we saw families, carers, and people living with disability spending hours navigating fragmented systems, outdated lists, and social media groups just to find reliable help. We knew there had to be a better way to connect the community with the providers who truly care.

NDIS service provider

Our vision is to create Australia’s most transparent and accessible disability ecosystem. We believe in a world where choice and control aren’t just NDIS buzzwords, but a daily reality. By providing a centralised, independent platform, we empower you to find support that aligns with your specific goals, lifestyle, and values.

Our Vision

What We Hope to Achieve

Ease of Access

Removing the barriers between needing help and finding it.

Empowerment

Giving the disability community the tools to vet, review, and choose their own paths.

Integrity

Maintaining a space that is free from corporate bias, where the user's needs always come first.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. DNA is a completely independent organisation. We are not affiliated with, funded by, or directed by any government bodies, including the NDIS or the NDIA. This independence allows us to remain a dedicated advocate for the community without bureaucratic constraints.

Because we are independent, we are 100% unbiased. We do not accept kickbacks or “preferred partner” fees from service providers. Our priority is – and always will be – the person living with a disability. We build our tools based on what the community tells us they need, not what a corporate board wants.

Our database is built from two primary sources:

  1. Public Records: NDIS registered provider data is sourced via the official NDIS Provider Finder.
  2. Independent Submissions: We allow private and non-registered providers to submit their listings directly to us. Every independent submission is vetted manually by our team to ensure quality and safety for our users.

NEW: DNA Jobs is Live!

Tired of hunting for providers? Let them come to you.

We are thrilled to introduce our newest tool: DNA Jobs. We realised that even with a directory, sometimes you have a specific, immediate need that doesn’t fit a standard search.

  • Post a Job in Minutes: Describe what you need (e.g., “Need a weekend community access worker in Geelong”).
  • Stay Private: Your contact details are hidden until you choose to reply.
  • Zero Cost: It is 100% free for clients and families to post jobs.
